Living in the southwest of the UK I am surrounded by neolithic, bronze age and iron age mystery all located on the chalk downland that makes this area so distinctive.

Landscapes are my predominant interest and I am currently using a Nikon D70. Images are taken in RAW mode and processed in Photoshop (cropping, contrast, curves, sharpening - the camera is set to do none of this). My aim in post processing is to keep the image real.

I work as a veterinary surgeon and live with my better half, 7 cats, 2 dogs and the threat of another horse...
